Crazy Marco decided to continue his investigation after observing the complaints of other participants.
Explanation
With the assistance of a few other players in the game, Marco recognized that the hand history he had gotten from Absolute Poker comprised all of the poker hands that had been played by all the players competing in the event. In addition, it had a list of their hole cards, their IP addresses, and several other identifying information.
Crazy The information was entered into a card replayer that Marco and his buddies used, and the hands were published to Youtube.

These recordings were subsequently taken from the website, but before their removal, they made it quite evident that Pot ripper was aware of the hole cards held by the other player. Crazy The information was entered into a card replayer that Marco and his buddies used, and the hands were published to Youtube.
After conducting additional research on the hand histories document, it was discovered that “observer” accounts were present at each of the tables in which Potripper participated.
Features
Pot ripper obtained the information because these observer accounts had access to the player’s hole cards, which helped explain how he received the information.
The Reaction from Absolute Poker
Absolute Poker continued to reject any charges of cheating, but the poker community tenaciously pursued their concerns.
They could obtain the IP address of the account used to cheat because Crazy Marco had provided them with the file that included the information. They traced the IP address to Scott Tom’s house in Costa Rica.
Absolute Poker eventually responded to the issue of possible cheating after it became clear that the issue was connected to Scott Tom. They published a statement claiming that the event resulted from a dissatisfied employee “who hacked the system to illustrate that it could be done.”
According to the statement, the employee sought to frame Scott Tom, but Absolute Poker insisted that Tom was not engaged.
They said that the cheating had only taken place for about forty days total, and they compensated those harmed by it by giving them a total of one and a half million dollars in reimbursements.
Following the completion of an inquiry, the Kahnawake Gaming Commission levied a fine against the corporation $500,000. Neither investigation identified the employee who was cheating, nor did they name that employee.
After a while, it appeared as though the problem had been fixed completely. However, the argument did not persuade some individuals within the poker world.
They demanded additional information about Scott Tom’s involvement and argued that the cheating had been going on significantly longer than Absolute Poker said it had been.
